SNA provides the community with training opportunities throughout the year.
Our focus continues to be on providing nannies with quality training
To help fill the void left by the impossibility of in person training the Swiss Nanny Association has started to work on a new project
21 online training classes in 2021
We will host online training sessions between 60 and 90 minutes for a presentation with the opportunity at the end for questions.
The idea is that the classes are affordable to all members
These classes will be recorded and available online for one month for all those who registered.
The main goal is to have an introductory class on a certain topic.
The participants can then decide to further investigate the classes they preferred for a more thorough course.
Each participant will be given a certificate of participation and SNA will make available a booklet with information on the classes, trainers and sponsors.
Taking trainings, attending conferences and keeping your CPR and FirstAId up to date will make a good impression on families looking for a nanny. By participating in trainings, you show your employer that you like your profession and that you are interested in learning things that will help you perform your job better.
It also says that you are self motivated to stay up to date.
We encourage all our members to be First Aid and CPR trained and run courses to facilitate this with Healthfirst, our preferred provider of First Aid, CPR and other health related training.
Since the start of our association we organised many successful trainings with Healthfirst, with great feedback from the participants.
Almost all the participants feel more secure while taking care of children.
The courses are thorough and super informative.
And as a bonus the course may be a way to get to know other Nannies.
When you participate with SNA in Healthfirst courses you will get:
A discounted price for members: Only CHF 95 (instead CHF 115 for the general public courses)
